Plan your group ride and share one link
Every group ride brings the same questions in the chat: will it rain, how hard is the climb, is there gravel, when are we back? RideBriefing answers them in one link you share with the group.
How it works
- Upload the route as a GPX file.
- Set the plan: start time, the group's average speed and the time for stops. Add a note with the meeting point, regroup spots or the coffee stop.
- Create the share link and post it in WhatsApp, Signal, Slack or your club's group. The preview already shows the distance, climbing, riding time and forecast.
What the group sees
- Your note, at the top of the page.
- The forecast for each part of the route at the time the group gets there, including head and tailwinds.
- Every climb with its category and when the group reaches it.
- The road surface, and what to wear and carry.
- Buttons to add the ride to their calendar and download the GPX for their bike computer.
Only you can change or delete the ride. Your browser keeps the organiser rights, and a private organiser link lets you edit from another device. If you change the plan, everyone sees the update on the same link.
Tips for organisers
- Use a realistic speed for the group, not for the fastest rider. Roughly 22 to 24 km/h suits a social ride on rolling terrain, while 26 km/h and up is a brisk pace.
- Add your stops, so the return time is right for the people who have to be home on time.
- Share it two or three days ahead. The forecast in the link preview refreshes automatically as the ride gets closer.
- Name the regroup points in your note, for example the top of the main climb.
Privacy
No one needs an account. Shared rides aren't listed or indexed by search engines, and they're deleted automatically 30 days after the ride. See the privacy policy.
